Terminator Pressure Limiting & Isolation Valve

A new approach to point of use isolation valves incorporating a pressure limiting function, ideal when it comes to protecting flexible hoses, mixer tap cartridges, fridges and appliances etc., from excess pressure. One of the key features of this product is preventing excess pressure build-up within the flexible connectors and tap cartridges within a building. Although it is a requirement to limit supply pressure below 500kPa this will only control the pressure within the cold water service. During the heat up cycle of a storage water heater (e.g. hot water cylinder), the water within the cylinder will expand and increase the pressure in the hot water service to up to 700kPa in a mains pressure system. This high pressure will remain within the hot water plumbing system until a tap is opened, this can be up to 23 hours per day. It's important to note that the maximum allowable pressure for tap cartridges is 500kPa. High pressure can damage fixtures and/or void product warranties.
